1) Where are you located?
If you have a smart
phone just click on the location button on our
mobile site.
We are one mile north and one mile west of
the Woodward Airport entrance. Please go to
our location page for a map. Unfortunately our
location cannot be found by our address on most gps
devices..... however go to Google Maps and type in
Nightmare in the Country and they no where we
are. This year we are much easier to find
thanks to the lit sign at the end of our road. Just
remember...Turn North at our sign.
2) Is there a line for the Nightmare in
the Country?
Yes, the line will move very quickly as groups of 5
or less will enter about every 3 minutes.
3) How Long will
it take to see all of Nightmare in the Country?
6 attractions cover our 5 Acre park. Each will last
10 to 15 minutes. Our hayride will last
approximately 20 minutes.
4)4 Years ago we rode part of the way through
NITC, will we be able to ride this year?
Myrvelda, our beloved trailer is back into
retirement. You will be able to walk through one of
our newer attractions Grim Scary Tales.
5) What if it rains?
We will post on our website and our Facebook page if
we will be closed due to rain for that night by
6:00pm. It may be raining where you are or in
Woodward and not at Nightmare in the Country.
If you wish and are unsure please call us.
6) What if it rains, and I purchased a
ticket online?
If we close due to rain, and you have a
ticket on call, that ticket may be used for another
night.
7) Is there an age limit?
You know your children better than we do. We
recommend 10 and up, however all ages come through
every year. We have tried to make Nightmare in the
Country a family destination but a scary one indeed.
Please use your own judgment and common
sense. NITC is intense and a lot of
walking and steps are involved.
8) What should I wear and what type of
shoes?
Dress warmly in layers and if those extra garments
are not needed just leave them in your car. NO Open toed
shoes, sandals, or flip flops please! We are an outdoor, old
farmstead with all sorts of toe eating creatures on
the premises.
9)Are there security staff and cameras
watching us.
YES. To provide
a safe environment for our guests and staff,
security personnel are stationed throughout the park
as well as night vision cameras almost everywhere.
10)Can we take pictures? Use our mobile
or cell phones?
No electronic media of any kind may be used
in the park. This includes phones, cameras,
Ipods, MP3 players, or pagers. YOU MAY WEAR
YOUR PACEMAKER!
11)Are smoking and tobacco usage allowed?
Yes, in our courtyard by the fire pit only
and not in the cue line. Once in the park, No fire,
smoking or open flame of any kind.
12)Will your actors touch me?
Our actors will not intentionally touch
you, therefore we ask that you do not touch our
actors.
13)If we are running late and driving a
distance, can we call and have you stay open till
we get there?
Uh......No.
Perhaps you should start a little earlier.
14) Is bad behavior, abusing the actors
and alcohol allowed in the park?
Absolutely, only long enough to get you
kicked out.
15)Is there food and drink at NITC?
We are currently
working on getting our kettle corn back. Dairy Queen
Concessions
will be here the final
4 weekends of our season.
16)Are there chicken exits?
Yes, but you won't
know where they are. If you need to get out,
just let one of our actors know and security will be
there very quickly.

us!
