A cool October a not so cold night, yet the chills ran deep, a night filled with fright.
Bludgeon was there, A date with dementia and Gorgach Urchin Did they not getcha?
Master of the barn The butcher bloodshed, he took what he needed and left the rest dead.
Then entered the clowns Their jokes were lethal. Those comics of doom Became pure evil.
The cemetery's path a tormented lane, Where all still lived and screams were in vain
Then in the Hollow, Deep in Misery's mine. Stayed true to the task Yet you had no spine?
For the timbers did creek and boulders did crash, First breathing dust then the fire and ash.
And what became of an old sawmill, When rage took o'er It was time to kill.
The hotel stood tall in the town Weepingville, where once lived many It is now quite still.
Yet Some have noted on nightly occasion, the deceased still roam with no population.
Then as you live. Then as you die. The country morgue, It's your final goodbye
This sleeping little farm has turned in for the night. Yet spirits still dwell where there is no light.
So my friend, I say too speak quietly. If presence be known pain comes severely.
For within this darkness the dread still burned. In Two thousand and ten The terror returned. |

![]() Many folks are unaware that a prison stood on the plains of Western Oklahoma in the early 1920's. A large prison at the time, but small by today's standards. Welcoming all the lowlifes, reprobates, and criminals that the state had to offer. The prison over time fell to disrepair, due to budget cuts and the war effort. By the early 40's, only one cell block remained. Amidst the crumbling prison Cellblock 9 remained to house the most evil of men. Less and less convicts were sent there, but when they were, everyone new they had to be the worse of the worst. No one ever completed their sentence, escaped or walked out. Word about the small town of Tangier nearby was, "Once in ... Never Out". Even the workers were rarely seen after entering the gate in the tall stone wall. The locals didn't want the jobs ... everyone new those 4 little words, "Once in ... Never Out". The fall of 1943, a new warden came to the prison near Tangier. "Came from back east somewhere" is the rumor the townsfolk heard. People still talk about it "Showed up in a big black car one day, an early cold October day". A lineman working outside recalled the gate opened and the big black car drove in. A big man stepped out, breathed deep and slowly surveyed the inside walls of the prison. The Warden faced the outside with deep dark hollow eyes and watched the gate as it made its final closing. Now this is conjecture, but I suppose you will find some people that will tell you they have seen folks go in and out of there. But when you pin 'em down, they'll eventually tell you ... no one has ever seen the gate open. The last time anyone remembers, was the day the lineman working on the lines saw the big black car drive in. Funny thing however, over the years as Cellblock 9 has become overgrown with weeds and the stone wall has begun to show some age, still looks in decent repair however. The 80 year old structure looks creepy as hell, but looks as it could still be in use ... and maybe it is. Towns people hear sounds from the prison from time to time. A faint scream, the clanking of metal, the closing of doors, a light illuminating a window, but no one ever goes to close. Even from a distance you can still make out the sign. The metal rivets have failed and the letters in the old Cellblock 9 have come loose over the years ... the C turned practically upside down, and the wall behind it has cracked in a few places. That is perhaps why, over the last few years the townsfolk have understandably given the old cellblock its more fitting name. This October be one of the first to enter. Closed for the last 50 years experience the unfortunate events that turned a prison cellblock into the absolute most horrific lockup ever. The evil still remains to haunt the hallways years after the last inmate perished. Ladies and Gentlemen, This October, Nightmare in the Country Scream Park grants you never before access to HELLBLOCK 9!
