Nightmare in the Country Scream Park began in 2009 over a kitchen table. For 11 years we have worked hard to provide you the absolutely best and second to none Halloween experience in Oklahoma. The safety of our guests and cast have always been our top priority. However, due to the Covid Pandemic cases on the rise and the thought that just one guest or cast member would be at risk of contracting this virus, it is with extreme sadness that we must announce that Nightmare in the Country Scream Park will not open for the 2020 Season.
As the Covid crisis has enveloped our nation and state, we feel we must do our part however insignificant to slow the spread of this virus. As safety conscious as we try to be, we feel there is no proper way to guarantee the protection of our valued guests and cast. Be assured that this was not a decision reached lightly as we have studied every option, multiple times. So after much soul searching and triple assessing the situation we have decided to put the safety of our Fans first and pause for only one season.
While this news will sadden many of you, know that the people who work their butts off to bring our show to you, are potentially even more distressed, as this is their life, their season and their joy. Many of whom have been with us since the very beginning. We sincerely hope that you will return in the fall of 2021, because if we are taking a year off, just imagine the craziness and intensity that will rear its terrifying head next year.
We love you, appreciate your undying support and WE WILL SEE YOU, HALLOWEEN 2021.
On a brighter note, NITC Escape, The escape rooms by Nightmare in the Country should resume operations soon with many new safeguards in place. To learn more check out www.nitcescape.com over the next few days for more detailed information.
